Chicken sausages rolls

I love a flaky sausage roll, dipped in tomato sauce…. But not a big fan of the greasy ones you can buy in stores, or the frozen versions full of hidden nasties. These sausage rolls are full of veggies, can be cooked and frozen and great to be enjoyed anytime.

Chicken sausage rolls


  • 4 Sheets Puff pastry Thawed
  • 500 G Chicken mince
  • 2 Small Carrots Grated
  • 1 Zucchini Garted
  • 1 Onion Grated
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Cup Bread crumbs
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • Sesame seeds


  1. Pre heat oven to 170 degrees

  2. In a bowl, combine, mince, carrots, zucchini, onion, 1 egg, bread crumbs, salt and pepper and sauce

  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and create a line down the puff pastry 

  4. Beat the 2nd egg and use it to glue the edges of the pastry and brush on top of the rolls. Then sprinkle with sesame seeds. 

  5. Back for 40mins
