Nut free muesli bars… Great for lunch boxes!

My clients have been requesting snacks for the kids lunch boxes that are nut free. So I have been tweaking these and I think they are delicious… Give them a go!

Nut free muesli bars


  • 1 1/2 Cups Rolled oats
  • 1/4 Cup Pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 Cup Dried cranberries or sultanas
  • 1/4 Cup Sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 Cup Chai seeds
  • 1/2 Cup Shredded coconut
  • 3 Tbsp Honey
  • 3 Tbsp Coconut oil


  1. Heat oven to 160 degrees and line a baking tray with baking paper

  2. In a large bowl, mix oats, seeds, cranberries, coconut

  3. Over a low heat, put honey and coconut into a saucepan and bring to the boil

  4. Combine liquid into the bowl

  5. Press into baking pan and bake for 20mins until golden brown

  6. Leave to cool before cutting
