Dark choc oat slice…

This isn’t a super healthy recipes, but it’s not super terrible either. I make it occasionally on weekends when I feel like something a bit more indulgent. You can always leave out the choc chips and add in some almonds if you prefer. Give it a go…

Dark choc oat slice


  • 1/2 Cup Self raising flour
  • 1/2 Cup Plain flour
  • 1 Cup Plain oats
  • 2/3 Cup Shredded coconut
  • 1/2 Cup Brown sugar
  • 125 Grams Melted butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 3/4 Cup Sultanas
  • 1/2 Cup Dark choc chips or carob


  1. Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl

  2. Add melted butter and egg - combine well

  3. Line a baking slice tray with baking paper, poor in mixture and bake for 20mins in a 180 degree oven.  Allow to cool before sliding.
